Series
Industrial environments are prone to dangerous
and damaging transients and surges which can be induced onto
signal lines as a result of lightning, power switching and electrostatic
discharges. These surges and transients can cause erroneous
equipment operation, or programming of industrial equipment
to cause system failure.
The HSP High Speed
Protector (HSP) series provides transient protection to
programmable logic controllers (PLCs), RS-232C, RS-423A, RS-485/422
signal lines, fire, security alarms, industrial monitoring,
and control equipment.
The Critec HSP High Speed Protector
series has been developed to protect equipment from surge currents
of up to 10kA (8/20us). The unit protects up to ten un-balanced
signal lines or five balanced signal pairs.
DLT Terminator
For industrial and other signalling applications
the DLT Data Line Terminator can be used with the HSP series
where screw terminal connection is required for wire sizes up
to 2.5mm2.
