Strain gauge bridges
are very sensitive to over-voltages and are easily damaged by surges
and transients. The load-cell protection device provides protection
to load-cells from lightning induced transients. The Critec LCP is well suited to the protection of measuring cells on industrial cranes, which are prime targets for lightning strikes.
