	Mechanical Connectors The durable RC70/RC100 rebar clamps provide two connection points to rebar in the wind turbine grounding foundation and meet the NEC® standard requirement for bonding to rebar. The EP2 Earth Plate provides a secure and effective point for joining foundation slab rebar to an external earth. Testers Earth testers are ideal for determining soil resistivity prior to designing the wind turbine foundation earth system and for testing the final resistance of the earth system after installation. Surge Protection The damage caused by lightning strike surges and voltage transients is a common cause of electronic equipment failure, performance disruption and unscheduled system downtime in wind turbine structures. ERICO offers a complete line of surge protection devices that can be coordinated into an effectively staged electrical protection plan.
